AccessIT Buys Brooklyn 8

BROOKLYN, N.Y. – Access Digital Media, a division of Access Integrated Technologies Inc. (AccessIT), announced Dec. 23 that it had signed an agreement to acquire the assets and businesses of the Pavilion cinema/entertainment complex in Brooklyn, N.Y.

The Pavilion complex, located in the city’s Park Slope district, currently houses the Living Room Café, a nightclub, a full-service restaurant and an 8-plex. A ninth screen is being added to the 1926 art-deco building.
AccessIT will continue to operate the Pavilion as a functional multi, while also utilizing the site as a showplace for demonstrating the company’s integrated digital-cinema solutions to the movie industry.

Morristown, N.J.-based AccessIT is a leading provider of digital film delivery and content management solutions and services for the exhibition industry.
