‘Nemo’ Swims To China
MCL Installs HK’s First D-Projectors
HONG KONG – The MCL exhibition chain launched Hong Kong’s first digital projection system in July.
Hong Kong-based MCL, a component of film distributor Intercontinental Group, installed the system for a run of Disney/Pixar’s “Finding Nemo.” According to The Hollywood Reporter, the company was waiting to hear audience responses before adding digital projectors to other sites.
MCL currently operates 14 screens at four sites in Hong Kong.
