I’m a Civil War buff.

the best thing about living in Knoxville?
High quality of life and low cost of living.

aside family members, who was your first role model?
Mickey Mantle.

would you wish for if a djinn offered to grant one wish
(assuming you couldn’t wish for more wishes)?
Great health for all my family and friends.

would you be if you weren’t a cinema operator?
Music agent/promoter.
Who
is your favorite filmmaker and why?
Francis Ford Coppola - He will go to any length to film
his vision.
What
was your favorite movie last year?
There were many good films last year like “Gosford
Park,” “The Royal Tenenbaums,” “Monster’s
Ball” and “Ocean’s Eleven,” but my favorite
had to be “A Beautiful Mind.”
Which
movie or movies are you most looking forward to?
“Matrix Reloaded.”
Who
is the most talented actor most people have never heard
of?
Chris Cooper.

book would you most want to see adapted into a motion picture?
“Ghost Soldiers” by Hampton Sides.

In our own business there are too many to name.

Being part of a dynamic industry.

The never-ending disputes with our partners in distribution.

Be prepared for the many twists and turns, some positive
and some not so positive, that you’ll experience in
life.

was the single best piece of advice you ever got?
Never accept no for an answer.
